Former students of Unity Secondary School, Ishiagu, Class of 2006, are set to reunite to celebrate two decades of shared memories, friendship, and growth at their 20th Anniversary and Reunion Celebration.
The event is scheduled for January 3, 2026, at Main Point Resort, Mile Two, Ivo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, and is designed as both a nostalgic homecoming and a purposeful gathering to strengthen bonds and encourage future collaboration.
With the theme “From Classmates to Lifelong Friends: A Journey of 20 Years,” the reunion will reflect on the class’s journey from their school days to their diverse personal and professional achievements across Nigeria and beyond.
In a press statement released in Abuja on Wednesday, the President of the group, Comr. Sunny Ibeh Jnr., anipr, said the reunion aims to rekindle old bonds, celebrate shared milestones, and reinforce a collective commitment to unity, progress, and sustained support for their alma mater.
Activities lined up for the celebration include a group tour of Unity Secondary School, legacy project presentation and unveiling, a lecture session, as well as networking and professional engagement talks. The programme will also feature class bonding games, media sessions, entertainment, refreshments, and an after-party.
Open to all members of the Unity Secondary School Class of 2006, the reunion is expected to stand as a strong testament to enduring friendships, shared values, and the lasting impact of education on personal and community development.
