The Deputy Chairman of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council, APC-PCC, United Kingdom Chapter, Dr. Mustapha Abdullahi has said the emergence of the APC, Presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as the winner of the forthcoming presidential poll will be a blessing to all Nigerians looking at his antecedents.
Mr. Abdullahi, who is also the Convener, of The Asiwaju Group, TAG, made the disclosure, yesterday while addressing the newsmen at the Presidential Campaign rally held in Imo state.
He applauded the Party to have fielded Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as the party flag bearer which he hopes will deliver the party mandates to all Nigerian after assuming the apex office in the country.
The campaign, which was widely attended by the party leader, President Muhammadu Buhari to further consolidate his clear message on his weight behind Mr. Tinubu.
His word: “Our Party was blessed to have fielded Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. A look at his campaigns so far shows he has engaged more than any other Candidate.
“Look at his campaigns so far, it’s has demonstrated and engaged the citizens more than any other Candidate. Aside from his competency to build on the milestones of President Muhammadu Buhari, he has shown from his engagements with critical stakeholders so far, that he is a man well prepared for the job.”
Mr. Mustapha emphasized that his party’s success has accounted for the reason why opposition parties were jittery as they have surmounted endless propaganda against its party candidate.
Speaking further, Abdullahi said the presence and a large number of Party’s stalwarts and members across the State who filled the campaign event indicated the acceptance of the party’s ‘APC’ in the state.
He said this is a strong signal that the party ‘APC’ is making serious incursion in the South-East region which hitherto has been predominantly a ‘natural habitat’ for the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Dr. Abdullahi who has been at the forefront of promoting Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Presidency also redefined his commitment to the party, met with other leaders for fruitful deliberations.
Prominent among Party bigwigs who attended the event were the State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, and the outstanding Governor of Ebonyi State, Engr. David Umahi.
