The Commissioner for Special Projects in Rivers state, Emeka Woke, has resigned.

This is coming in the wake of the lingering feud between the governor and his political benefactor, Barr. Nyesom Wike, who is now the Minister of FCT.

Woke becomes the second commissioner to resign and was also Wike’s Chief of Staff from 2015-2023 before his appointment by Governor Sim.

The Attorney General of the State, Zacchaeus Adangor, was the first Commissioner to quit the cabinet.
