Aliko Dangote, the chief executive officer of the Dangote Group, has said that his refinery will create adequate employment possibilities for young people in Nigeria.

This was disclosed by Dangote on Monday during his remark at the Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals’ commissioning.

The project was commissioned by the President Muhammadu Buhari.

“The refinery operation will generate massive job opportunities in their hundreds of thousands,” he said while highlighting the benefits of the refinery.

Dangote thanks Nigerians for supporting refinery.

He said, “The refinery will make available to our industries vital raw materials to a large range of manufacturers in the pharmaceuticals, food, beverages, construction and many other industries,” he said.

The refinery is located at Dangote Industries Free Zone, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos, and it is set up to process crude oil grades from the continent of Africa, Asia and America, with a delivery of a surplus of close to 38 million litres of petrol, diesel, kerosene and aviation fuel for Nigeria daily

The refinery set up to refine 650,000 barrels of crude oil per day transforms crude oil into different usage of petroleum products such as diesel, gasoline, jet fuel and kerosene
