Manchester City have completed the signing of highly rated teenage winger Jeremy Monga from Leicester City on a five-year contract.

The 17-year-old, regarded as one of England’s brightest young prospects, joins the Premier League champions after making 37 senior appearances for Leicester, where he became the club’s youngest-ever starting player.

Although the transfer fee was not officially disclosed, reports estimate the deal to be worth around £10 million, including performance-related add-ons.

Monga, who attracted interest from several top European clubs, said joining City was the right step for his development as he looks to continue his rise under the club’s youth-focused system.

The England youth international becomes one of Manchester City’s latest additions as the club strengthens its squad ahead of the new seaso
