The Commissioner of Police in Kano State has pledged a renewed crackdown on thuggery, drug trafficking and other criminal activities across the state.

The police chief said the command would intensify intelligence gathering, strengthen patrols and collaborate with other security agencies and community leaders to tackle crime effectively.

He warned criminal elements to desist from illegal activities or face the full weight of the law, reaffirming the command’s commitment to protecting lives and property.

Residents were also encouraged to support security efforts by providing credible information that could assist law enforcement in preventing and combating crime.
