Musa Mante Baraza, lawmaker representing Dass constituency in the Bauchi State House of Assembly, has been killed by gunmen.

The unknown gunmen who stormed the residence of the deceased lawmaker in Dassa on Thursday night, also abducted two wives and one year old child after killing him.

This was confirmed by the Bauchi State Police Command on Friday morning.

Ahmed Wakili, the Command spokesperson in Bauchi, said the gunmen are suspected to be armed robbers who invaded his house last night, adding that a team of Police led by the Dass Divisional Police Officer has mobilized to the area to commence immediate investigation into the crime.

More details soon.
