Gunmen Kidnap Former Senator, Ambuno, Policeman In Taraba

A former Senator who represented Taraba North constituency, Zik Sunday Ambuno and a policeman, Mustapha Nuhu have been abducted by unknown gunmen in the state.

The gunmen kidnapped the victims in separate attacks on Sunday.

MERIDIAN SPY also learnt that a village head of one of the communities in the state was also kidnapped during the attack.

A source confirmed that the gunmen were more than 20, and on arriving the village, began to shoot sporadically.

As resident scampered for safety, the “gunmen forced their way into the former senator’s house and abducted him to unknown location,” the source said.

The Invaders also stormed Dogon Yeli, Lallah, Bmekler, and Kumuyel areas in the state.

According to Taraba Police Command spokesperson, David Misal, the security personnel are working towards finding the kidnappers.
