The Federal Government has said it may reopen land borders across the country soon.

This comes barely two weeks after an exemption was granted to Dangote Cement to export its products through the land borders despite the closure.

Zainab Ahmed, Minister of Finance, made the disclosure while speaking with State House correspondents in Abuja on Wednesday.

Ahmed said the presidential committee set up on the border closure had recommended reopening.

More details soon.
