National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, has claimed that former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi and former Kano State Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso do not possess the political legacy needed to secure victory in the 2027 presidential election.

Speaking on the country’s political landscape, Ganduje argued that the two opposition figures lack the nationwide political structure and influence required to mount a successful challenge in the next general election.

He maintained that the APC remains well-positioned ahead of the 2027 polls, expressing confidence that the ruling party’s achievements and grassroots support would strengthen its chances of retaining power.

Ganduje also urged party members to remain united and committed to consolidating the party’s progress as preparations gradually begin for the next electoral cycle.
