BREAKING: Plateau Continues To Lead, As Nigeria Confirms 239 New COVID-19 Cases, 10 Deaths

239 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Nigeria, pushing the total to 54,247 in the country.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made the disclosure via its verified Twitter handle on Tuesday.

Out of the new cases, Plateau continued to top the list with 116 infections, followed by FCT with 33. Others are Lagos-19, Ekiti-12, Kaduna-11, Ogun-11, Ebonyi-8, Benue-7, Abia-5, Delta-5, Ondo-4, Edo-3, Imo-2, Osun-2 and Bauchi-1.

Death toll rose by 10 to 1,023 while recovery toll rose to 42,010 in the country.

A breakdown of the cases as reported by NCDC reads below:
