The 2018 Land Use Charge in Lagos State has been cancelled and reverted to pre-2018 charges.

The penalties for 2017, 2018 and 2019 land use charge was also waived by the government.

Dr. Rabiu Olowo, the Commissioner for Finance, made the announcement at an ongoing press briefing.

According to Olowo, the waiver of the charges translates to a revenue loss amounting to N5.6bn.
