BREAKING: 626 New COVID-19 Cases As Total Surpasses 27,000

Nigeria has confirmed 626 new cases of coronavirus, pushing the total to 27,110 in the country.

This was disclosed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Thursday via its verified Twitter handle.

Out of the 626 new cases, Lagos the epicentre of the virus topped the list of cases by states with 193 infections, followed by FCT with 85. Others are Oyo-41, Edo-38, Kwara-34, Abia-31, Ogun-29, Ondo-28, Rivers-26, Osun-21, Akwa Ibom-18, Delta-18, Enugu-15, Kaduna-13, Plateau-11, Borno-8, Bauchi-7, Adamawa-5, Gombe-4 and Sokoto-1.

Meanwhile total discharged and death cases rose to 10,801 and 616 respectively.
