BREAKING: 684 New COVID-19 Cases Confirmed In Nigeria As Total Exceeds 23,000

Nigeria has recorded 684 new cases of coronavirus, taking the total to 23,298 in the country.

This was announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Friday night via its verified Twitter handle.

Of the 684 new COVID-19 cases, 259 were confirmed in Lagos, topping the list of cases by states, while Oyo followed with 76 cases. Others are Katsina-69, Delta-66, Rivers-46, Ogun-23, Edo-22, Osun-22, Ebonyi-21, FCT-20, Kaduna-16, Ondo-10, Imo-9, Abia-9, Gombe-5, Plateau-4, Bauchi-4, Ekiti-2 and Anambra-1.

Total discharged rose by 431 to 8,253, while total deaths hit 554 in the country.
