BREAKING: 12 Deaths As Nigeria Records 627 New COVID-19 Cases

Nigeria has confirmed 627 new coronavirus cases, taking the total to 15,181 in the country.

This was announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Friday via its verified Twitter handle.

Out of the 627 new cases, Lagos recorded the highest at 229, followed by FCT with 65 and Abia at 54. Others are Borno-42, Oyo-35, Rivers-28, Edo-28, Gombe-27, Ogun-21, Plateau-18, Delta-18, Bauchi-10, Kaduna-10, Benue-9, Ondo-8, Kwara-6, Nasarawa-4, Enugu-4, Sokoto-3, Niger-3, Kebbi-3, Yobe-1 and Kano-1.

12 new deaths were recorded, as total jumped to 399 while total recoveries rose to 4,891 I’m the country.
