BREAKING: 11 Deaths As Nigeria Confirms 556 New COVID-19 Cases

Nigeria’s coronavirus cases have increased by 556 to 36,663.

This was announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Sunday night via its Twitter handle.

Edo topped the list of states with cases, recording 104 new infections, followed by Lagos and FCT with 97 and 70 respectively. Others are Benue-66, Oyo-61, Kaduna-38, Plateau-28, Osun-19, Akwa Ibom-14, Rivers-13, Katsina-13, Ondo-13, Ogun-6, Kano-5, Nasarawa-4, Gombe-2, Ekiti-2 and Borno-1.

Total fatalities increased by 11 to 789, while recoveries rose to 15,105 in the country.

The breakdown of cases reported by NCDC reads below:
