The Adamawa State chapter of the All Progressive Congress , APC, has rejected the March 28 date fixed by Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, for supplementary poll  in the State.  Ahmed Lawal, the APC Organizing Secretary, made the party’s stance known during an interview on Tuesday with NAN in Yola, the Adamawa State capital.   A woman, Ibukun Adebayo is fighting for her life in a hospital after being allegedly hacked with a cutlass by her estranged husband, Kehinde Adebayo.   The Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, has reacted to tribunal ruling sacking him as governor of the state. An Osun governorship tribunal had on Friday sacked him and declared Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, winner of the last governorship election in the state. The Osun State Governorship Election Tribunal has declared Ademola Adeleke of the PDP as the winner of the controversial state election. The tribunal also declared the September 27 rerun election in the state illegal. A medical doctor at a public hospital in Sokoto State, Tijjani Faruk, has thrown the Sokoto medical community into grief after confessing to raping a married woman after administering sedative injection on her. The Lagos state government has commenced the demolition of buildings likely to collapse at Lagos Island. Government officials are currently pulling down such houses on Freeman street in Ita Faji area. The Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, narrowly won the presidential election in Edo state with 7,849 votes more than his main rival, President Muhammadu Buhari.
