The Labour Party has denied reports that its Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi, will withdraw from the 2023 race to support the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) candidate, Atiku Abubakar. Commercial bank operators in Nigeria have refuted the Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) claim that commercial banks have enough naira notes in their kitty but are hoarding them. The CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele, said at the virtual unveiling yesterday that the card was designed to address local peculiarities that existing card products had failed to address.
