The Inspector General Of Police, Usman Alkali Baba, has ordered the sealing of all the 17 local government secretariats of Plateau state following the ongoing crisis in the state. The Kaduna High Court has dismissed a defamation lawsuit brought by the state’s former governor, Nasir el-Rufai, against Shehu Sani, a former senator who represented Kaduna central. Oluwafemi Damilola has been charged with defrauding four prostitutes of N45,000 and has been taken before a chief magistrate court in Ondo State. The victims claimed Damilola took advantage of them for sex and that once they provided it for him, he paid them by creating a false alert. It was discovered that the police had been notified of the incident, and Damilola was later detained and charged with two counts of fraud-related offenses.
