Mr Atiku was accompanied to the National Peace Committee office by his running mate, Peter Obi, the National chairman of the PDP, Uche Secondus, and a former governor of Ogun State, Gbenga Daniel, among others.

In her remarks, Obi Ezekwesili also urged the president to sign the amended Electoral Act as that would be the only way to prepare ahead for a free and fair election in 2019.
