Some young people have burned a banner bearing the image of afrobeats musician David Adeleke, nicknamed Davido, in an apparent protest against a now-deleted controversial music video titled ‘Jaiye Lo’ produced by his signee, Olalekan Taiwo, alias Logos Olori.

The youths are seen lighting fire to the flag in a 19-second video clip shared on Tik Tok by @deeksaiphonestore and reposted on Twitter by @sarki_sultan.

An annotation on the video suggests that the youths committed the act in the Maiduguri district of Borno State.

Commenting on the video clip, @sarki_sultan wrote, “Davido should apologise let’s end this. It takes nothing to say I am sorry.”

As of the time this report was filed, the report had garnered over 354,000 views on TikTok.

The Meridian Spy had reported that the Muslim Rights Concern lampooned Davido, and Logos Olori for releasing the music video.
