Ayo Balogun, widely known as Wizkid, has responded to an internet user who went off on him for his sarcastic posts on X about the popular musician, Davido.

This video is one of the many mockery posts directed at Wizkid, which comes after Davido (David Adeleke) took to social media on October 1st, 2024, to reveal his new apparel collection, which is in partnership with the German brand Puma, one of the leading designers in the world.

Following his announcement of the partnership deal, Davido’s fans took to social media to congratulate the artist while also comparing the success he achieved so far to that of Wizkid. This comparison was what set Wizkid off and led to a series of posts from the artist.

In the original video retweeted by Wizkid, the user can be heard saying “An artist of what caliber? Brother, you have not had a hit in four years; you’re tweeting at David talking all this nonsense.” Wizkid replied to this post with the following statement, “You idiot, I turned down Puma ’cause they could no longer afford to pay me ’cause I wanted more! Don’t need that!”

Davido and Wizkid fans have been at war with one another for several years and this only serves as a continuation of the years of rift between the two fanbases.
