U.S. President Donald Trump sparked reactions after publicly praising rapper Nicki Minaj during a White House Rose Garden luncheon, describing her as “so respected,” “so hot,” and “a fantastic person.”
The event, held to mark the launch of the Trump Accounts initiative, featured several invited guests, including the Grammy-nominated rapper, who has become one of Trump’s most prominent celebrity supporters.
While addressing attendees, Trump singled out Minaj for special recognition, saying she was “a great friend of common sense” before asking her to stand and receive applause from the audience.
He also praised the rapper’s talent, saying she is respected by many and has made a significant impact in the entertainment industry.
Following the event, Minaj shared photos and videos from the White House on social media, including images taken inside the Oval Office. In one of her posts, she referred to herself as “#WhiteHouseBarbie” and described Trump as her “favorite President of all time.”
Trump’s remarks quickly generated widespread discussion online, with supporters applauding the exchange while critics questioned the President’s choice of words during an official White House event.
