Soludo Drops Information Commissioner, Paul Nwosu Over Non-performance

The Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State has reportedly sacked his State Commissioner for Information, Mr Paul Nwosu.

Nwosu, who has held the position since 2022, was reportedly dismissed due to incompetence.
A source revealed that Nwosu is now out of office, and a replacement would be announced soon.

According to the source, a new Commissioner has already undergone screening at the Anambra State House in preparation to take over from Nwosu.

Our reporter learned that Nwosu’s dismissal was attributed to his perceived failure to effectively manage the Governor’s image, especially with the upcoming governorship election next year.

“As I speak to you, Mr Paul Nwosu has packed his bags, and we’re just waiting for the announcement from the Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Christian Aburime, ”the source said.

When contacted, Mr Aburime said: “Wait for government’s side of the story.
Meanwhile, journalists in Anambra are already celebrating the news of Nwosu’s removal. They reported that over the past three years, the Commissioner rarely engaged with journalists and was known to avoid their visits to his office.
