The Senate has approved the Federal Government’s request to borrow $7.8 billion and €100 million.

President Bola Tinubu had made the request in a letter to the Senate, which was read by Senate President Godswill Akpabio during plenary.

Recall that on Tuesday, President Bola Tinubu presented a supplementary budget of N2.18 trillion to the National Assembly.
