Rivers State Commissioner for Environment, Austin Ben-Chioma, has added his name to the growing list of officials who are quitting the cabinet in the wake of the political crisis rocking the state.
He tendered his resignation letter from Governor Sim Fubara’s cabinet on Friday.
He is the ninth commissioner to resign after Zacchaeus Adangor, Dax Kelly, Inime Aguma, Isaac Kamalu, Prince Chinedu, Gift Worlu, Jacobson Nbina and Emeka Woke did so earlier in seeming loyalty to the Minister of FCT, Nyesom Wike, who has a disagreement with the governor.
