Reps Summon VeryDarkMan Over EFCC Bribery Allegations

Social media influencer Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, will appear before the House of Representatives on Monday regarding bribery allegations against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The case revolves around an audio recording in which crossdresser Idris Okuneye, aka Bobrisky, allegedly claimed to have bribed EFCC officials with N15 million to drop a money laundering case. Bobrisky also claimed to have avoided jail time at Kirikiri Prison, staying in a lodge instead.

 

VeryDarkMan, who released the audio, will testify alongside Bobrisky and EFCC Chairman Ola Olukoyede as part of the investigation. VeryDarkMan’s lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, confirmed the appearance on social media, pledging full cooperation with the inquiry.
