As part of post COVID-19 recovery plans, Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom has grated tax relief to businesses in the state.

This was made known in a Twitter post shared on the official page of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Tuesday.

The tax relief, it was noted, was to encourage companies and citizens across the state to recover from the hardship caused by the ravaging #COVID19 pandemic.

“Post #COVID19– Governor @MrUdomEmmanuel of Akwa Ibom state has granted tax relief to help businesses in the state to thrive.,” the PDP tweeted.

“The tax relief will encourage companies & citizens across the state to (get) over the hardship associated with the ravaging #COVID19 pandemic. #UdomIsWorking.”
