Phantom Burger set to drop new single ‘100 meter’

Fast rising singer, Royal Onyedikachi known as Phantom Burger is set drop a new single “100 meter” featuring Lyta and Picazo Rhap.

The Chief Executive Officer of Artmatazz Media, a media company to the superstar, Christian Agadibe, disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), on Saturday in Enugu.

He quoted the Afro beat singer saying he discovered his musical talent in a church as a member of the choir but ventured into secular music.

“I discovered my music skills from the church where I joined the church choir and learned how to play instruments.

“I became obsessed with music and  from there I picked up interest to build a career in music,” he said while reminiscing on his growing up experience.

According to him, the exciting  singer whose music has started to gain popularity among music buffs, announced that his next song will drop on August 1, 2024 and revealed the inspiration behind the song.

“I got this idea to talk about my experience with a girl whom I met and while talking , I quickly decided to turn it into a song and give it a storyline.”

Featuring Olamide ex-signees Lyta and Picazo Rhap,  the Imo State born songwriter talked about why he was currently promoting his new music.

“I am actually promoting my song and trying to bring out a different style of music from the rest of the world. One of the steps I am taking to reach my goal is getting to work with people or artists who have made it.

“I then strategize and look for ways to improve beyond this level.”

Unlike some parents who do not support their children to go into music, Onyedikachi said his family  strongly supported him to go into the industry.

“My mom is my biggest supporter and my whole family loves my music,” he said.

Speaking about his latest single, the graduate of Computer Engineering  described his music style as a versatile trap and  afro swing.

“I  am about to drop a project soon and it’s definitely going to be a hit song. I am working with some well known artists on this song.

“Actually, the lyrics in that song are from my experience with a girl I had a conversation with, so in that song I was actually talking about her,” he added.

He encouraged the other artists to never give up and ‘never stop praying, revealing  top artists he desired to feature soon in his song

“I desire to feature the likes of Davido, Burnaboy, Wizkid,  Chris Brown and Lil Baby from the US as well as Central Cee from the UK.

“Although, I have unreleased songs with most popular artists which is the reason I want to work with these big artists so that I will show the world my sound and bring out a new style of Afro to them,” he said
