OpenAI has made a significant leap forward with the launch of its latest flagship model, GPT-4o, now available to both Plus and free users. This new model, unveiled on Monday, brings enhanced multimodal functionality, setting a new standard for AI capabilities.

In conjunction with this release, OpenAI has introduced its first desktop application for macOS, with a Windows version slated for later this year. The ChatGPT app for macOS is designed to seamlessly integrate with the operating system, fully leveraging the power of GPT-4o. The app is offered for free and supports a wide range of services and applications, providing users with a versatile tool for various tasks.

One notable feature of the macOS app is a convenient shortcut (Option + Space), allowing users to quickly access ChatGPT, enhancing productivity and ease of use. This development marks a significant step in making advanced AI more accessible and integrated into everyday computing experiences.
