The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.) has congratulated Nigeria’s women’s basketball team, D’Tigress, on their historic victory at the 2025 FIBA Women’s Afrobasket Tournament, held in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.

D’Tigress defeated Mali 78-64 in a thrilling final on Sunday, securing their fifth consecutive Afrobasket title, a record-breaking feat that cements Nigeria’s status as the undisputed queens of African basketball.
