Nigerian Defence Chief Expresses Condolences Over Keyan CDS Tragic Crash

The Nigerian Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, has commiserated with the government and people of the Republic of Kenya over the unfortunate death of the Kenya Chief of the Defence Forces, General Francis Ogolla.

The CDS, on behalf of members of the Armed Forces of Nigeria, is saddened by the news of the helicopter crash that resulted in the tragic loss of the brilliant General and other senior military officers of the Kenya Defence Forces at Maramwet County yesterday.

The CDS noted that the officer was well decorated, highly Professional and dedicated his life to the service of his nation, and was committed to the security of the East African sub-region in particular and Africa in general.

General Musa enjoined the nation to be consoled by the good name, accomplishments, and great memories of his impactful life during his meritorious service to his nation while he was alive.

He prayed that the Almighty God would grant his soul and that of the departed colleagues eternal rest, as well as grant their families and the Keyan Defence Forces the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
