Nearly three years after the death of Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, his remains are yet to be reburied, with his father maintaining that a DNA test must first be conducted.
Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba, has insisted that determining the paternity of the late singer’s son remains a key condition before the burial can take place. He said the DNA test is necessary to resolve lingering family disputes and provide clarity over issues surrounding his son’s estate.
The late singer died on September 12, 2023, and his body was exhumed days later as part of an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death. Since then, the case has continued to attract widespread public attention, with legal proceedings and family disagreements delaying his final burial.
The prolonged dispute has sparked renewed conversations on social media, with fans and supporters expressing concern over the continued delay and calling for a resolution that would allow the late musician to be laid to rest.
