An Ota Magistrates’ Court in Ogun on Monday sentenced a 47-year old man, Ugochukwu Sunday, to two years imprisonment for breaking into a Techno Company to steal a dispenser and other items worth N960,000.

The Magistrate, Mr O. O. Okiki, sentenced Sunday to prison without option of fine, after pleading guilty to stealing, damages and burglary.

Earlier, the Prosecutor, Insp E. O. Adaraloye, told the court that the convict committed the offences on Oct. 17 at 5.30 a.m. at Ota.

He added that the convict maliciously damaged the ceiling in the process of trying to break into the company.

Adaraloye said the convict broke into the Techno Company, and stole water dispenser and other valuable items valued at N960,000.

He said the offences contravened Sections 390(9), 414 and 451  the Criminal Code, Law of Ogun, 2006
