Makinde, Kwankwanso in closed-door meeting in Ibadan

Rabiu Kwankwaso, the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) during the 2023 general elections and a former governor of Kano State, has arrived at the Oyo government Secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan.

The NNPP chieftain, who was received at the governor’s office by Governor Seyi Makinde, arrived in the company of some of his political associates and friends.

The purpose of the visit could not be ascertained at the time of this report.

However, it was observed that shortly after arrival, the host Governor led the visitors into the governor’s private office.

The duo is currently meeting behind closed doors as of the time of this report.

While details of the meeting are scarce, it might be connected to the permutations ahead of the upcoming 2027 general elections.
