Kidnapped Nasarawa CAN Chairman Regains Freedom

Bishop Joseph Masin, the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Nasarawa State chapter who was kidnapped in his residence at Bukan Sidi area of Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital has finally regained freedom from his abductors.

Meridian Spy reported Friday, the state CAN Vice Chairman, Pastor Tayo Samuel told New Telegraph that the abductors had contacted one of the victim’s sons and demanded N20 million.

One of the CAN Chairman’s sons, Pastor Sam Joseph confirmed that his father has been released.

Joseph said he arrived home around 2am on Sunday May 31 but made no disclosure if any ransom was paid to secure his freedom.
