One of the daughters of Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa has tested positive for the dreaded coronavirus disease.

This was confirmed by the Governor in a tweet via his official Twitter handle on Friday.

Consequent upon his daughter being diagnosed for the virus disease, Governor Okowa announced he and his family will be in isolation for two weeks in line with the laid-out COVID-19 procedures.

The governor’s tweet reads below:

Earlier today, Edith and I received the news that one of our daughters has tested positive for #COVID19. Hence, in-line with the laid out procedures, we are both going into isolation for the next 14-days.
