The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ese- Odo local government area of Ondo State, Samuel Olorunwa has defected to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
MERIDIAN SPY gathered Olorunwa tendered his resignation letter at the party secretariat on Friday .
The ex-APC chairman who is believed to be a supporter of the state Deputy Governor, Agboola Ajayi, subsequently announced he was joining the PDP.
There has been an ongoing rift between the Deputy Governor and his Principal, Rotimi Akeredolu and there are strong possibility that both may contest against each other in the governorship election in the state.
