Former VP Atiku’s Son Test Positive For Coronavirus

A son of the former Vice President and 2019 Peoples Democratic Party PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar has tested positive for coronavirus.

Atiku confirmed this in a tweet on Sunday, urging Nigerians to pray for his son as he has been moved to Gwagwalada Specialist Teaching Hospital in Abuja for medical management.

The tweet reads: “My son has tested positive to coronavirus. @NCDCGov has been duly informed, and he has been moved to Gwagwalada Specialist Teaching Hospital in Abuja for treatment and management. I will appreciate it if you have him in your prayers. Stay safe, coronavirus is real. -AA”

The former vice president did not however reveal the identity of his son.
