Nigerian rapper and activist Falz has dismissed claims that he endorsed any political candidate during the 2023 general elections, clarifying that his public comments were never intended as support for any politician.

The award-winning artiste said his advocacy has always focused on promoting good governance, accountability and responsible leadership rather than campaigning for individuals seeking public office.

Falz explained that while he encourages citizens to participate in the democratic process and make informed decisions, he has never publicly declared support for any political candidate. He urged the public to disregard reports suggesting otherwise.

The entertainer reiterated his commitment to using his platform to speak on issues affecting Nigerians, maintaining that his position remains centred on national development and social justice.
