Edo State Government has announced the discharged of eleven coronavirus patients receiving treatment in the state.

This was made known in a tweet on Thursday by the state Governor, Godwin Obaseki.

Obaseki disclosed that the total discharged cases in the state has risen to 253.

He also revealed that a patient died of complication from the dreaded virus disease.

“We have discharged 11 more #COVID19 patients from the state’s isolation centres, bringing the number of recoveries to 253,” said the Governor.

“However, we recorded one (1) more death.

“Our elderly population are most vulnerable and must be protected this period. Please stay safe.”
