David Umayi, Ebonyi State Governor, has recovered from the dreaded coronavirus disease after spending nearly a month in isolation.

The Governor disclosed that his daughter and three other of his aides who contracted the virus disease have also tested negative.

Governor Umahi’s recovery was announced in a statement personally signed by him and made available to newsmen on Friday.

He gave glory to God for their recovery and also appreciated the people of the state for their prayers.

Recall the Governor tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday July 4.
