Nigeria top music singer, Davido, has suspended his 2019 album ‘A Good Time’ tour due to the intense spread of the deadly coronavirus disease.
The disease, which was declared a pandemic on Wednesday by the Director-General World Health Organisation WHO, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, has led to the suspension of major events and activities, including sports.
The Davido Music World DMW boss announced in his official twitter his decision to halt the tour owing to the spread of the virus, saying his fans’ health are paramount to him.
The tweet reads, “I’m saddened to halt what has been a fantastic sold-out tour so far, but postponing is the right thing to do. The health and safety of my fans and staff is most paramount and nothing else matters. Be safe and see you all soon! God be with us all!”
