The General Overseer of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement, Pastor Lazarus Muoka has said coronavirus will be crushed in one minute if churches reopen and people return to God.
In a video which was seen on the church’s official social media page, Pastor Muoka chided world leaders over stringent measures they’ve instituted to curb the spread of COVID-19, which includes closure of churches.
The General Overseer said God allowed the pandemic to happen so that everyone can return to him. Adding that the devil has taken advantage of the virus and the people are looking for solution elsewhere, instead of returning to the house of the Lord.
He further insisted that the disease cannot be stopped by several governments’ measures across the globe such as closure of borders, washing of hands, use of vaccines and wearing of face masks but that if the world returns back to God and enters into a covenant with him, the virus will be crushed within one minute.
Pastor Muoka is one of several pastors who have made similar remark about the deadly contagion as a call for people to return to God.
Meridian Spy had reported a month ago that the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye said the reason behind the compulsory holiday declared by various governments across the world as a measure to tackle the deadly coronavirus is because God wants to show the world that he is still the one in control of the earth and after he has proven himself he would remove it.
