Chima Udoye has emerged the winner of the reality TV singing competition, Nigerian idol season 9 edition.

He emerged the winner on Sunday after months of competing with some of Nigeria’s best vocalists.

The grand finale began with the rendition of John Legend’s “Glory” by all the 10 contestants, followed by special appearances from past winners of the reality show, Progress and Victory Gbakara.

The audience was treated to guest performances by Simi and Chike before the top 3 contestants, Lammy, Chioma, and Chima took the centre stage for their final performances.

Chima walks away with N30 million cash, a music deal with a music video, and a DSTV Explora with a 1 year premium subscription and a brand new SUV.
