The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has inaugurated a new office in Lagos State as part of efforts to improve business registration services and make them more accessible to entrepreneurs, startups and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The new facility is expected to reduce processing times, improve service delivery and provide a more efficient registration experience for businesses operating in Lagos and surrounding areas. It also aligns with the commission’s ongoing drive to modernise operations through technology and customer-focused services.
Officials said the expansion reflects the government’s commitment to creating a more business-friendly environment by simplifying regulatory processes and encouraging formal business registration.
The development is expected to support economic growth by making it easier for entrepreneurs to register and manage their businesses while expanding access to essential corporate services.
