BREAKING: Total Discharge Exceeds 1,000, As Nigeria Records 184 New COVID-19 Cases

Nigeria has recorded 184 new coronavirus cases while total recoveries have risen to 1,070 in the country.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC made the announcement on Wednesday via its verified Twitter handle.

Out of the 184 new cases, 51 were confirmed in Lagos, 23 in Jigawa, 16 in Bauchi and Katsina, 14 in Kano, 10 in FCT and Rivers, nine in Kwara, five in Delta and Kaduna, four in Sokoto and Oyo, three in Kebbi, Nasarawa and Osun, two in Ondo, and one each in Ebonyi, Edo, Enugu, Anambra, Plateau and Niger.

Fatalities also rose to 164 in the country.

NCDC tweeted: “184 new cases of #COVID19; 51-Lagos 23-Jigawa 16-Bauchi 16-Katsina 14-Kano 10-FCT 10-Rivers 9-Kwara 5-Delta 5-Kaduna 4-Sokoto 4-Oyo 3-Kebbi 3-Nasarawa 3-Osun 2-Ondo 1-Ebonyi 1-Edo 1-Enugu 1-Anambra 1-Plateau 1-Niger.
