BREAKING: Nigeria Records 226 New COVID-19 Cases

Nigeria has recorded 226 new coronavirus cases, taking the total tally to 6,401 infections in the country.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC broke the news on Tuesday via its verified Twitter handle.

Of the 226 new cases, 131 were confirmed in Lagos, 25 in Ogun, 15 in Plateau, 11 in Edo, seven in Kaduna, six in Oyo, five in FCT and Adamawa, four in Jigawa, Ebonyi and Borno, three in Nasarawa, two in Bauchi and Gombe, and one each in Enugu and Bayelsa.

One new death was recorded taking the total to 192 while recovered cases rose to 1,734.
