BREAKING: Nigeria Confirms 481 New COVID-19 Cases, 5 Deaths

481 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Nigeria, taking the total to 42,689 in the country.

This was announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Thursday night via its verified Twitter handle.

FCT recorded the highest daily toll with 96, followed by Lagos with 89. Others are Plateau-68, Ogun-49, Edo-44, Rivers-43, Oyo-25, Osun-23, Delta-15, Enugu-11, Kano-7, Kaduna-7, Bauchi-2, Bayelsa-1 and Yobe-1.

Five new fatalities were recorded as the toll hits 878, while 19,270 have been discharged in the country.

A breakdown of the cases as reported by NCDC reads below:
