BREAKING: Nigeria Confirms 457 New COVID-19 Cases As Total Hits 44,890

457 new cases of coronavirus ha e been confirmed in Nigeria, bringing the total to 44,890 in the country.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NDDC) made the disclosure on Wednesday via its verified Twitter handle.

Out of the 457 new cases, Lagos recorded 137, topping the list, followed by FCT with 76. Others are Plateau-40, Rivers-35, Enugu-34, Oyo-25, Abia-23 Delta-12
Edo-11, Ebonyi-11, Cross River-10, Kwara-10, Kaduna-9, Anambra-7, Ogun-5, Imo-3, Bauchi-3, Osun-2, Nasarawa-2, Kano-1 and Ekiti-1.

Total death and discharged tolls rose to 927 and 32,165 respectively.

A breakdown of the new cases as reported by NCDC reads below:
